Some of you who know me may have heard me whining telling you about how my hard drive crashed on me.  It has been absolutely no fun AT ALL!  I am typically very good at keeping all my back-ups current, so the majority of what I need is there, it has just been all my emails, passwords, software, etc that I have to reload/relearn.  So, my public service announcement to you is back up your computer - NOW!!

Be patient as I play catch up and get all the recent sessions up to date and posted.  Also, be on the lookout for pictures of the new studio/office!  I absolutely cannot wait to share it with you!  We will be hosting an open house and grand opening in the next few weeks too.  We will have food, giveaways and of course, stop by to see the new digs!

And, what’s a post without a picture!  Something I pulled off an old hard drive - an oldie but goody!

When selecting your child’s clothing for portraits, remember to have fun!  Don’t be conservative!  Bring half their closets and we can come up with great, kid-friendly outfits together.  I am always willing to point you in the right direction for clothes that can be easily purchased online also.

Ok, there’s my disclaimer, it is completely inappropriate and irrelevant, but it made me smile!  It could be a crackhead…

Two weeks in a row, must be a record!

All these clothes come from Janie and Jack.  And, yes, for the little boy, a shirt is not necessary.  Most little boys I know, mine included, love to run around without their shirts on, and what could epitomize childhood more?  Also, for small girls shirts are optional as well.  There is a certain innocence that comes with a small child’s bare skin, and that is exactly what I want to capture for you.

Here are a few from our recent trip.  Ahh, it makes me long for the beach again!  You know… sand in your bathing suit, suntan lotion in your eyes, sunburn and a good book!  ; )  I just love my guys!

Ok, I’ll be the first to admit, I am guilty of being a bad blogger lately.  I knew it, but now my friends are starting to hold me accountable for it.  Gotta love my Girls!!  I have been pretty busy lately.  The kids are out of school, Bible school, our vacation, excuses, excuses, excuses….Yeah, yeah, I know!  Also, the new format of this blog has been a little more challenging than the previous one, but I believe I am getting the hang of it now!  (Keep your fingers crossed!)

I have to send a big shout out and thank you to Jess Brown of JBrownCo.net.  He is not only an old friend, but he is also a great web desginer and all-around computer whiz!  He has been so kind to help me get this all figured out this week and I certainly am thankful!

So, hopefully in the next week or so I can get back to work and post some updates.  I have a few things in mind, so stay tuned!
