Look at those lips!  Oh my!  Don’t you just want to kiss them?  She was such a wonderful, sleepy newborn.  Her parents were so great to schedule pictures early!  It truly does make all the difference in newborn photography - the earlier the better!  Those sleepy, curly newborn days are quickly fleeting and it is such a treasure to have these portraits of their first days.

If you are interested in newborn portraits, remember that the first two weeks are optimal.  Shoot me an email when you are in your third trimester so that I can get you penciled in.  You will be so glad you did!

Now, without further ado, meet Miss K:

Whitney: Thanks for taking such great pictures, Kirstin. We're so happy with them and will be coming to you again as they get older!

Shane: I Love MY girl! Look at Those lips. She is so precious.

Morgan Snipes: I love MY girl, too! She is such a wonderful baby. I am so blessed that she is in my life. These pictures are absolutely beautiful... I can't wait until they arrive in my house!

Look at this sweet little face!  Is she not just adorable?  And, quite the little trooper too!  While I was bundled up in my sweater and coat, she did just fine in her beautiful sweater with barely a complaint at all.  We were actually feeling bad for her towards the end, but she kept plugging right along.  What a sweetie!

Fabulous Find Friday

December 18, 2009

Isn’t this art portfolio beautiful?  I don’t know about you, but our household is overflowing with our little one’s artwork.  And, I do mean overflowing - in the living room, on the kitchen table, in closets, under beds, you get the idea!  Wouldn’t it be ideal to have it all nice and tidy in something so beautiful?  Yeah right, a girl can dream!

Go here to get it.

I was so excited when The Company Store began carrying a new line of kid’s clothing.  Such great pieces!

It’s one of my favorite sessions for so many reasons.  First of all, the kids themselves.  These are my best friend’s little ones and aren’t they precious?  I love them so!  Second, their mom gave me 100% freedom to do with them as I please - what could make a photographer happier?  Seriously, gorgeous kids and I was able to style them from head to toe, it really doesn’t get a whole better than that.  And, lastly, this session results were a complete surprise to their parents.  They knew it was taking place, but they had no idea how they were dressed or how it went!  I’m not sure who is happier with the results - them or me!  And, you know what else?  They are truly grateful (and quick).   Love you guys!
